Empowering you to bring harmony to your health by bettering your total mind and body wellness
Natural Health Practitioner
As I’m talking to people, I can put puzzle pieces together about their life through their personal and family histories,
Has their life been stressful?
Was there adequate nutrition in their diet growing up?
Can I find the catalyst that may have changed their health at some point, and where and what was it?
That will then tell me where to go to start the healing process. So I’ve been known to ask questions tracing back to birth or even conception that my client may not know the answer to, but it helps me see a closer look as to exactly what is going on and where did it come from in this person’s life so that I can formulate a plan to get them back to their optimal health.
In addition to my degrees in Human Development from Penn State University and Public Health Education from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, I hold certifications in Complementary Alternative Medicine, Traditional Naturopathy, and Clinical Thermography, and am a member of the American Herbalists Guild.
Beyond these certifications, I am always striving to attain the most knowledge possible to help my clients; I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Health and Science San Diego.
What To Expect in Our Consultation
During our first appointment, I like to start by first explaining a little about myself and my practice as this lays the groundwork for a successful partnership in their health, and because most people aren’t used to practitioners like myself. I connect dots in a much different way than many of the other practitioners that people have seen usually do. So I may ask a lot of questions that may not seem relevant, but there is a method to my madness and I just follow where the story takes me.
I create my protocols using my extensive knowledge of health and physiology, but also by connecting with the emotional components that cause physiological changes.
I only recommend natural, safe, and affordable products (available at your local health food store or online), free of known disease-causing chemicals and only of superior, quality tested ingredients. If appropriate and necessary I will refer out to physicians, chiropractors or other specialists, for lab testing, or further diagnosis. We practice holistic health, looking at the mind and body of the person, and address all options of health modalities that we can combine to better optimize your total wellness.
